DP Optional Team Finishes Season with State and National Honors

As the 2025 season draws to a close, our Development Program (DP) Optional Team has demonstrated poise, power, and championship spirit across state and national platforms. From standout performances at Level 6 through Level 10, our athletes delivered routine after routine with incredible skill and determination.

We are thrilled to celebrate their accomplishments and honor the hard work they’ve put in all season.

Level 6 State Championships

Our Level 6 gymnasts showed elegance and competitive strength at the state level:

  • Jasmine: 2nd on Bars, 2nd on Floor, 3rd All-Around

  • Naomi: 2nd on Beam

  • Cassidy: 2nd on Beam, 3rd All-Around

Level 7 State Championships

Our Level 7s rose to the occasion with excellent performances across events:

  • Kate: 2nd on Beam, 2nd on Floor, 1st All-Around Champion

  • Andrea L.: 1st on Bars, 2nd on Beam, 2nd on Vault

  • Nicole: 2nd on Bars, 2nd on Beam, 3rd All-Around

  • Emma L.: 2nd on Vault, 1st on Beam, 1st on Floor, 2nd All-Around

  • Isabelle: 2nd on Vault

  • Suah: 3rd on Bars, 1st on Beam, 1st on Floor, 3rd All-Around

Level 8 State Championships

Our Level 8 athletes delivered elegant, powerful routines to close out their season:

  • Beatrice: 1st on Beam, 1st on Floor, 3rd All-Around

  • Andrea C.: 2nd on Vault, 1st on Beam, 1st on Floor, 3rd All-Around

  • Kylie: 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 3rd All-Around

Level 9 Highlights

  • Everley: 2nd on Floor at the State Championships

    • Western National Championships Qualifier: Everley represented the team with pride at Westerns and finished 4th on Floor, an impressive national showing.

Level 10 Successes

Our Level 10 athletes reached incredible heights this season, showcasing elite-level talent and earning national recognition:

  • Amaya Umphrey:

    • 1st on Vault at States

    • Crowned National Champion on Vault at the Developmental National Championships — an extraordinary achievement, especially as this was her very first year competing as a Level 10. Amaya’s stunning performance marks her as one of the brightest rising stars in the program.

  • Stephie Becker:

    • Qualified to Developmental Nationals

    • Finished 4th All-Around at Nationals

    • Earned a prestigious spot on the Developmental National Team, a testament to her consistency, poise, and competitive excellence.

  • Jordan Oakland:

    • Earned qualification to the Developmental National Championships through her hard work and strong season performances. While she was unable to compete due to illness, we are proud of her determination and all that she accomplished this year. Her strength and sportsmanship in the face of adversity embody what it means to be part of the Los Gatos Elite team.

Closing Reflections

This season, our DP Optional Team didn’t just meet expectations—they exceeded them, earning podium placements, championship titles, and national recognition. From Level 6 through Level 10, each athlete contributed to a remarkable season that showcased the depth, discipline, and unity of Los Gatos Elite.
