Silks introduction course

The Silks Introduction Course prepares students for Aerial Silks 1 by teaching essential terminology, climbs, footlocks, beginner skills on a silk knot, and important safety fundamentals.

Students begin the Introduction Course once a spot becomes available in their desired Aerial Silks 1 class. We will hold that Silks 1 spot while your student completes the Introduction Course and demonstrates the required prerequisites. Most students are ready to advance into Aerial Silks 1 after 4–8 Introduction classes, depending on individual progress.

Safety and skill readiness guide all advancement decisions as we help each athlete begin their aerial journey.

Process:

  • Find an Aerial Silks 1 class time that works for your student.

  • Add your student to the waitlist for that class.

  • When a spot becomes available, our team will reach out to confirm. Once confirmed, we will remove your student from the waitlist and hold their spot in Aerial Silks 1.

  • Your student will begin the Silks Introduction Course.

  • Once your student has completed the required skills, they will transition into their reserved Aerial Silks 1 class.

Note: Introduction classes are not automatically recurring. Each week, you must contact our front office to schedule your student’s next Silks Introduction class.
