Aerial Arts Program FAQ
Junior Team
Coach Juliet and Eli are delighted to work with the group going forward.
There are no planned schedule changes for the Junior Team.
Changes to Team 1b and Team 2
for Team 1B and Team 2
What does Instructional mean?
This will be a team focused class time that is driven by a coach with a lesson plan. They will continue on apparatus training that is structured and lead through the moment.
What does Details mean?
This will be a less structured class with options for the student to choose what to work on. This will include:
Running their act/act refinement
Conditioning
Prehab/Rehab
This will not be instructor-driven time, but an instructor will be present to guide through any current assignments and conditioning.
Trick and Tumble Showcase
We will be focusing on the silks acts for the remainder of Katie’s time at Los Gatos Elite, so unfortunately, this means we need to pivot from our development of the large group act in the Trick or Tumble showcase for Teams 1b & 2.
Individual act performance selection will be determined in the coming weeks.
More information will follow.
NOTE: If any groups registered to perform in the Showcase are no longer participating due to our changes, we will refund their registration fee.
How will this affect competition season?
There are no planned changes to the competition season. Kelsey will be joining the teams for each competition and continue to shape and refine their individual performance pieces.
We are continuing to search for a high level silks coach to join us for classes and teams. We are looking forward to the competition season and continuing to work with your performer!
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Kelsey through TeamSnap or via email.
